Sooners End ITA All-American Championship Campaign in Main Draw

NORMAN – Kholo Montsi of the Oklahoma men's tennis team completed his campaign in the main draw of the ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa.

The sophomore Sooner faced Georgia's Miguel Perez Pena in the first round of the main draw and lost the three-set battle in a third set tiebreak, 7-6(1), 4-6, 6-7(1).

Montsi was the final Sooner standing in the tournament after junior Luis Alvarez fell short in the qualifying round. Senior Jordan Hasson, junior Bruno Nhavene, sophomore Asahi Harazaki and freshman Oscar Lacides competed in the prequalifying round of the tournament but did not advance.

Up next, the Sooners travel to Dallas to compete in the SMU Invite from October 4-6.
