NORMAN — The No. 22 Oklahoma men's tennis team claimed a 6-1 win over LSU in the final home match of the season on Saturday afternoon.
The Sooners (14-7, 7-5 SEC) dropped the doubles point to the Tigers (10-15, 0-11 SEC) despite picking up a win at the three spot. No. 25 pair

Asahi Harazaki claimed a 6-4 win, sending all eyes to court two. After starting the match with a 2-1 lead, sophomore
Kholo Montsi and junior

Needing four victories in singles to take the team win, the Sooners started strong with senior
Jordan Hasson claiming the first set, 6-2. He won the second set by the identical score to even the match at 1-all. Soon after, Montsi took down a ranked opponent, 7-5, 6-3, to give OU its first lead of the match. Freshman
Orel Kimhi pushed the Sooners closer to victory with a second-set tiebreak win, 6-3, 7-6(3).
Harazaki battled in a third set to bring Oklahoma the victory. After dropping the first set in a tiebreak, the sophomore took the second set and swiftly claimed the third set, winning 6-7(4), 6-4, 6-1.
The last two matches left on court were also in third sets, each having played a tiebreak earlier in the match. Melero came out on top, 5-7, 7-6(3), 6-3, and Alvarez sealed the sixth point for the Sooners, 6-7(4), 6-3, 6-4.
