Sooner Rewards is the FREE official student loyalty program of OU Athletics. The program, built inside of the Oklahoma Sooners app- the official app of Oklahoma Athletics, rewards students with points and prizes when they attend events. To get started, students can create an account by following the directions below.

How do I participate in Sooner Rewards?
Open/download the Oklahoma Sooners app, the official app of OU Athletics. On the bottom right, click menu, then click the Sooner Student Rewards tab. Follow the instructions to create or login to your Sooner Rewards account. Be sure to enable location services while using the app and select the precise location option to earn points for attending events.
Who can participate in the Sooner Rewards program?
All full-time and part-time University of Oklahoma students are eligible to participate and must have an active student ID number.
How do I earn points?
Attend home Oklahoma Athletics events and receive points. Make sure you open your Sooner Rewards account via the Oklahoma Sooners app once inside the venue and confirm the location services option is turned on while using the app. The app will will automatically reward you for your attendance to the event!
How many points do I get for attending an event?
Point values for each event throughout the year vary. Events include ticketed and non-ticketed events. Bonus point opportunities will also populate under “Schedule” as they come up throughout the year, including but not limited to, staying late or arriving earlier to an event and promoted double-point events.
How do I redeem points for prizes?
After acquiring points for attending events, you will “spend” your points on prizes that can be picked up at SELECT LOCATIONS or EVENTS. You must redeem the prize in the app a minimum of one (1) business days prior to the next pickup date in order to be picked up. ITEMS WILL NOT BE SHIPPED.
Where do I pick-up the prize(s) that I redeemed?
You will be contacted via the Sooner Rewards program (email and/or push notification) with your specific pick-up options for redeemed prizes. Not every OU Athletics event will be a pickup location. Any unclaimed prizes AFTER 30 DAYS will be returned to the Prize Store and your points will be refunded.

When is the last day I can redeem a prize?
All prizes must be redeemed in the Prize Store by the final date set before the end of the current academic calendar. Prizes will not be available for redemption during major university breaks (Summer, Winter breaks).
How long can I keep points that I've earned?
The Sooner Rewards program does not expire earned points, and points will rollover from one academic year to the next as long as the student ID associated with the account is an active student ID. When a student ID is no longer active, the account will be deactivated, and any points will be considered expired at that time.
What if I forgot my log-in credentials?
1. Simply click ‘Forgot Your Password?’ from the Login screen.
2. Enter your email address.
3. If the email address entered has an account, you will receive an email from soonerrewards@rewards-message.com to reset your password. *This email may go to your ‘other’ or ‘junk folder’.
4. If the email address entered doesn’t have an account you will receive a message and you can create an account by selecting ‘Need an account? Register here.’
Location Usage
When ‘location is enabled’ the app uses geofencing to make sure students are in attendance at the venue to earn points. When permission is granted, location data is captured to enable certain program functionality. Using the mobile app, location data may be captured while the app is closed. This data is only used to enable certain program functionality without the need for user interaction. Location data is not shared.
What if I forgot to check-in at an event?
Please contact SoonerRewards@ou.edu with documentation of your attendance at the game. We will review and help you as best we can to earn your points. Arrive Early, Stay Late, or multiplied point offerings will NOT be rewarded for forgotten check-ins, but the base game point amount will be.
