NORMAN – The No. 24 Oklahoma men's tennis team is set to host Georgia in the second Friday Night Lights match of the season on Friday, March 21, at 6 p.m. CT.
The Sooners' 2025 home matches at the Headington Family Tennis Center will be open to the public and free of charge. Due to the elimination of concessions, fans are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks. OU also follows a clear bag policy.
The showdown between the Sooners and Bulldogs can be followed through live stream or live stats.
OU returns to Norman following three straight road matches. In the most recent competition, the Sooners fell short to then-No. 25 South Carolina, 6-1.
After dropping only their third doubles point of the season, the Sooners' lone point in the match came from a singles win at the four line from junior Luis Alvarez, 6-4, 6-4.
In the most recent ITA team rankings, Oklahoma remains in the top 25, sitting at the No. 24 spot.
Freshman Oscar Lacides is once again ranked in singles, checking in at No. 94. The Frenchman has been noted in every singles ranking of the 2025 season.

For the second week, the Sooners saw impressive showings from Alvarez. In the match against Auburn, Alvarez not only picked up a win to contribute to the doubles effort, but showed out in singles to earn a straight-set win to give the Sooners their second point of the match.
The Mexico native continued his success with two more wins in doubles and singles against South Carolina.
Alvarez is on a four-match win streak in singles and is undefeated at the four position. With five wins in conference play, the junior leads the Sooners in singles conference success. In doubles, Alvarez and teammate Kholo Montsi have tallied a 12-1 record and will look to extend their win streak as they return home to face Georgia.
Georgia is currently notched as the No. 28 team nationally and matches the Sooners with a 10-6 overall record. The Bulldogs are 4-2 against SEC opponents and have tallied wins over Tennessee, Kentucky, LSU and Mississippi State.
Three players represent UGA in the most recent ITA singles rankings. Thomas Paulsell leads the pack at No. 25, and is followed by Miguel Peres Pena at No. 31 and Ryan Colby at No. 34.
