NORMAN – Eleven Oklahoma track and field athletes are set to compete on the national stage at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted inside the Virginia Beach Sports Center Friday and Saturday in Virginia Beach, Va.
The two-day meet will kick off with combined events on Friday at 9:35 a.m. ET. The Saturday session starts at noon ET with field events.
The Sooner men go into the meet ranked No. 9 and the women No. 10 in the nation per USTFCCCA's Track & Field Rating Index. OU aims for its first combined top-15 NCAA finish since 2011, where the men placed 13th with 14 points and the women sixth with 25 points.
To qualify for the championships, athletes posted top-16 marks in all of NCAA Division I during the indoor regular season.
Oklahoma returns all six of last year's qualifiers, including No. 5-ranked
Olivia Lueking, who aims for her fourth consecutive First Team All-America honor in the pole vault. Known as the top-two combined events athletes in OU history, No. 1
Pippi Lotta Enok and No. 7
Angel Richmore return to the indoor championships after placing ninth and seventh, respectively, in 2024. No. 11
Paige Low earned 14th at last year's championships in the shot put for Second Team All-American.

BJ Green and No. 3
Nikaoli Williams headline the men's team. Green returns to the final site after grabbing a bronze medal at the SEC Indoor Championships and earning two NCAA First Team All-America awards in 2024. Williams looks for redemption in the long jump after qualifying for last year's site but was unable to attempt due to injury.

Jasmine Akins, who competed at the 2022 NCAA Indoor Championships, will participate in the long jump and triple jump, where she ranks seventh and 12th, respectively, in the nation.

TOP-10 SOONERS
The Oklahoma men's and women's T&F teams rank top-10 nationally, per the USTFCCCA's Track & Field Rating Index, with the men coming in at No. 9 and the women No. 10.
The OU men's team is ranked top three in four events and leads the nation in the triple jump (15.52m (50'11.75") average) and high jump (2.20m (7'2.50")). The men rank second in the shot put (19.02m (62'5.00")) and third in the long jump (7.61m (24'11.75")).
The Sooner women are ranked second in the nation in the triple jump (13.40m (43'11.75")), third in the long jump (6.36m (20'10.25")) and sixth in the long jump (6.36m (20'10.25")).
Pippi Lotta Enok's record-breaking performance in the pentathlon at the SEC Indoor Championships helped OU in the TFRI, her 4,593 score is first in the NCAA and fourth in the world so far this season.
NEW CONFERENCE, NEW OPPORTUNITIES
The Sooners entered their first season in the SEC, a league known for track & field dominance. At the SEC Indoor Championships Feb. 27 – March 1, the women's team finished second with 62 points and the men tied for third with 56.5 points.

WORLDWIDE PHENOM
Pippi Lotta Enok's title-winning performance in the pentathlon at the SEC Indoor Championships on Feb. 27 goes beyond the scope of the conference, with her career-best 4,593 points shattering Estonia's, her native country, national record and moving her to No. 5 all-time in NCAA history. Her count is fourth in the world and leads the NCAA in 2025.
Enok's achievement was helped by four personal records in the 60-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put and long jump. She posted two marks in the top 10 of Oklahoma indoor history, LJ (No. 2) and HJ (No. 5) and smashed her former school record set on Jan. 31.
PRIMED IN PARIS
Ralford Mullings suites up for Oklahoma after competing at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he placed ninth in the discus throw. The Jamaican standout debuted indoors for OU this season in the shot put.

Head Coach
James Thomas enters his second season at the helm of Oklahoma Track & Field. In his inaugural season, Thomas directed the program to three school records, one Olympian, two individual conference titles, 15 All-America honors, 47 all-conference awards and 59 top-ten performances in OU history.
