NORMAN – The No. 16 Oklahoma wrestling team bounced back in dominant fashion Friday night, earning its first Big 12 dual win of the season with a 38-4 victory over Air Force at McCasland Field House.

Oklahoma (8-2, 1-1 Big 12) won nine of 10 bouts, highlighted by four bonus-point victories as the Sooners seized control early and never looked back.

The Sooners struck first at 125 pounds, where No. 25 Conrad Hendriksen delivered a composed performance against Air Force's Tucker Owens. The senior rallied from a 4-0 third-period deficit before scoring a takedown in sudden victory to secure the win.

Oklahoma continued to build momentum with decision victories from No. 26 Tyler Wells at 141 pounds and Hunter Hollingsworth at 149. From there, the Sooners put the dual out of reach with a decisive stretch of bonus-point wins.

Redshirt freshman Layton Schneider ignited the run at 157 pounds with a second-period fall, followed by No. 8 Carter Schubert at 174 and Anders Thompson at 184, who each added falls to extend Oklahoma's lead.

Freshman Anthony Harris Jr. continued the upperweight success at 197 pounds, overwhelming Josh Cordio on his way to a 20-5 technical fall.

At heavyweight, No. 22 Juan Mora put the finishing touches on the night with a 4-2 decision over Antonio Ramos to seal the 38-4 victory.

Oklahoma will travel to Morgantown for another Big 12 showdown against West Virginia on Sunday. First bout is scheduled for 12 PM CT.
