OU Adds Five Transfers to Wrestling Roster

NORMAN – University of Oklahoma wrestling head coach Roger Kish has announced the addition of five transfer athletes to the Sooners' 2026-27 roster.

Liam Daniels (Little Rock), Ty Eise (Nebraska), Paddy Gallagher (Ohio State), Isaiah Powe (Chattanooga) and Jersey Robb (Oklahoma State) have all signed with the Sooners and will join the 2026-27 team.

The group brings a combined four NCAA Championship appearances, including an All-America finish from Gallagher at the 2026 NCAA Championships. The transfers join a Sooner roster that returns three NCAA qualifiers from the 2025-26 season and also features seven incoming freshmen ranked in MatScouts' Senior Big Board, which lists the top 250 high school recruits nationally. OU's 2026 recruiting class has been ranked as high as No. 12 in the country by MatScouts.Ā 

LIAM DANIELS / LITTLE ROCK / EDMOND, OKLA.

Daniels joins the Sooners after competing in two tournaments and three duals for Little Rock during the 2025-26 season. The Edmond, Oklahoma, native did not compete during his freshman season.

A 285-pounder, Daniels was a 2024 5A state champion and regional champion while competing at Edmond North High School. He was also a two-time Oklahoma National Team member and earned 2024 All-State honors.

TY EISE / NEBRASKA / GILROY, CALIF.Ā Ā 

Eise comes to Oklahoma after posting a 9-7 record at Nebraska during the 2025-26 season. The 174-pounder went 2-0 in dual competition and recorded six bonus-point victories, including two pins, three technical falls and a major decision. He won the Greyhound Open and placed sixth at the Navy Classic.

A Gilroy, Calif., native, Eise was a two-time Colorado Class 5A state champion and won the 2024 Super 32 at 175 pounds.

PADDY GALLAGHER / OHIO STATEĀ / CHESTERLAND, OHIOĀ Ā 

Gallagher joins the Sooners following an All-America season at Ohio State in 2025-26. The 165-pounder placed eighth at the NCAA Championships after earning his third career NCAA Championship appearance and finished the season with a 19-10 record. Gallagher owns a 6-7 career NCAA record and also placed seventh at the 2026 Big Ten Championships.

A Chesterland, Ohio, native, Gallagher was ranked the nation's No. 1 pound-for-pound wrestler by MatScouts and FloWrestling in 2021.

ISAIAH POWE / CHATTANOOGAĀ / MOUNT OLIVE, ALA.

Powe joins the Sooners after competing at Chattanooga, where he was a 2024 NCAA qualifier and Southern Conference champion at 141 pounds. He posted a 25-4 record as a freshman and was named SoCon Freshman of the Year.

A Mount Olive, Ala., native, Powe compiled an 80-1 record at Gardendale High School.

JERSEY ROBB / OKLAHOMA STATEĀ / BIXBY, OKLA.

Robb joins the Sooners after spending two seasons at Oklahoma State. In 2024-25, he posted a 12-2 record at 184 pounds with seven bonus-point wins, winning the Michigan State Open and placing third at the Soldier Salute and fifth at the Reno Tournament of Champions. As a redshirt in 2023-24, he went 9-3 and made four dual starts at 197 pounds.

A Bixby, Okla., native, Robb was a three-time Oklahoma state champion and four-time state championship finalist.

The Sooners will open the 2026-27 season later this fall.
