NORMAN – Oklahoma Rowing heads to Sarasota, Fla., for the Big Ten Invitational this weekend at Nathan Benderson Park on April 18-19.
The Sooners will send six boats to compete in the two-day competition hosted by Michigan and will face 22 teams, including fellow SEC members Alabama and Tennessee. Last year at the invite, the Sooners claimed seven top-three finishes.
The first OU boat hits the water at 9:30 a.m. CT on Friday, with the full race schedule

Oklahoma is ranked No. 20 in the CRCA Pocock Coaches Poll heading into this weekend's regatta, meeting eight other ranked teams, including No. 3 Washington, No. 6 Tennessee, No. 9 Rutgers, No. 12 Michigan, No. 14 Ohio State, No. 17 Oregon State, No. 18 Harvard and No. 24 USC.
The Sooners compete in their final race of the regular season next Friday and Saturday, April 25-26, at the Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas, on Lake Walter E. Long.
