NORMAN — Eighteen Oklahoma rowers were honored as 2025 College Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the organization on Tuesday. This marks the highest number of student-athletes at Oklahoma that have received this honor since the program was established in 2009.

Elizabeth Pfeil (psychology),
Andrea Poleksic (psychology),
Alaina Ronning (environmental sustainability),
Rachel Schneider (health and exercise sciences) and
Shreya Vemula (finance) all received honors.
Brown, Duff, Gleichman, Huggan, Leatherman and Woolery claimed the accolades for the second straight year. Edil tallied her second academic honor of the season, also being named the 2025 SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Oklahoma led the SEC with the most student-athletes awarded (18) and the fourth-most in Division I.
Student-athletes must be in their second, third, fourth or fifth year of eligibility, rowed in 75% of spring races and hold a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher to be eligible for the award. Among all three NCAA divisions, the CRCA honored over 1000 student-athletes. As a whole, this year's group averaged above a 3.75 GPA, with over 60 student-athletes achieving a perfect 4.0.
