NORMAN – Oklahoma women's track and field senior
Pippi Lotta Enok and freshman
Leah Jeruto were awarded SEC Athlete of the Week honors for their performance at Mt. SAC Relays and the Bryan Clay Invitational, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon. Enok was named the SEC Co-Women's Field Athlete of the Week and Jeruto the SEC Women's Freshman of the Week.
Enok opened her outdoor season with an exceptional performance in the heptathlon, posting 6,258 points to shatter her own school record and finish second overall, first by a collegian in the elite section against a talented field. With two personal bests in the shot put and 800 meter, Enok rose to No. 2 in the NCAA and SEC so far this outdoor season. Her score ranks No. 11 in NCAA collegiate history and No. 3 in the world in 2025.
Jeruto put on a dominating performance in the 3,000-meter steeplechase invite section with an impressive time of 9:34.71. Jeruto smashed OU's school record to rank No. 4 in the NCAA and No. 2 in the SEC so far this season. She is now the No. 24-ranked performer in NCAA collegiate history and her time is the sixth-best by a freshman in NCAA collegiate history. She went on to finish runner-up in the 1,500 meter invite section, clocking 4:13.77 to climb to No. 2 in OU's all-time performance list and rank sixth in the SEC.
These accolades mark Oklahoma track and field's second and third weekly SEC honor of the outdoor season and the sixth weekly conference award of 2025.
