Sooners Close Out Successful Weekend in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Oklahoma rowing clinched majority wins in Kansas City, Kan., at the Big Ten/Big 12 Double Dual on Saturday.

OU's 1N8+ secured the first win of the weekend by seven seconds against Kansas State and Iowa Friday evening. The Sooners trailed the Hawkeyes in a head-to-head 2N8+ race to claim their lone loss of the weekend.

Oklahoma breezed to an eight-second victory against Iowa and Kansas in the 1N8+ race on Saturday morning. The 2N8+ squad won a close battle against Minnesota, concluding the dual.

Up Next

The Sooners will cross paths with Iowa and Minnesota at the Big Ten Invitational in Sarasota, Fla., on April 19-20.
