NORMAN – Boasting one of the nation's best records through two events this season and ranked No. 24 nationally, Oklahoma women's golf heads to New Mexico for the nationally televised NB3 Match Play Championship. The two-day, match-play event begins Tuesday morning at Twin Warriors Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, N.M. The Sooners will compete against New Mexico, New Mexico State and North Carolina State.
Led by 18th-year head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell, Oklahoma owns a 23-1 record this season, including a 16-1 mark against top-100 opponents. The Sooners enter the event with the second-best winning percentage in the SEC.
Match pairings will be announced Monday evening, but the Sooners will be led by a veteran group featuring Audrey Rischer, Nancy Cox and Anna Kate Nichols. Sophomore Meg Tilma enters the event as a recent SEC Golfer of the Week honoree, while freshman Ryan Donaldson is the reigning SEC Freshman of the Week. Sophomore Earn Thiengsri also returns to action after finishing as the runner-up at the Schooner Fall Classic.
LAST TIME OUT
Oklahoma women's golf finished as the runner-up at the 14th annual Schooner Fall Classic on Monday, posting its second consecutive under-par team score to open the 2026-27 campaign and placing four golfers in the top 20.
Competing as unattached individuals, Satonkan (Earn) Thiengsri and true freshman Ryan Donaldson led the way for the Sooners at par-70 Belmar Golf Club. Thiengsri finished as the co-runner-up at 9-under, matching the best finish of her career, while Donaldson tied for sixth at 6-under in her collegiate debut.

THE COURSE
The par-72 Twin Warriors Golf Club, located in Santa Ana Pueblo, N.M., features 18 holes of championship high-desert golf routed around 20 ancient cultural sites. Framed by the Sandia Mountains, the course winds through grassy knolls, juniper and piñon pine, arroyos and striking natural formations, including the sacred Tuyuna, or "Snakehead," butte.
Twin Warriors has hosted the PGA Professional Championship, Senior PGA Professional Championship, Women's PGA Cup and PGA Jr. League Championship.
FORMAT
Each team will play two matches Tuesday and one match Wednesday in a round-robin format. Tuesday's shotgun match play begins with twosomes at 8:20 a.m. CT, followed by foursomes at 1 p.m. CT. Wednesday's matches are scheduled for a 12 p.m. CT start, with any matches unfinished from Tuesday resuming at 9:30 a.m. CT.
Teams receive one point for a match win, 0.5 points for a tie and zero points for a loss. If teams are tied at the conclusion of the event, each coach will select one player to compete in a sudden-death playoff.
