NORMAN – Oklahoma women's golfer Satonkan (Earn) Thiengsri was named the SEC Golfer of the Week after a standout week in which she won the OU Intercollegiate and went 3-0 at NB3 Matchplay, helping the Sooners capture team titles at both events.

At NB3 Matchplay, Thiengsri never trailed in her three matches, earning victories of 2&1, 3&1 and 2-up for a field-best +7 hold differential. Her three team points helped Oklahoma defeat NC State, New Mexico and New Mexico State, with her 2&1 victory over NC State in the championship match proving pivotal in securing the team title.

Thiengsri followed with her first collegiate individual title at the OU Intercollegiate, carding rounds of 72-66-67 (-8) at Wichita Country Club to finish one stroke ahead of Missouri's Addie Dobson. Her performance helped Oklahoma claim the team championship by two strokes.

The Sooners have now earned three consecutive SEC weekly honors for the first time in program history. Meg Tilma was named SEC Golfer of the Week following her victory at the season-opening tournament, while Ryan Donaldson earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors following the Schooner Fall Classic before Thiengsri's selection this week.

A member of the Thailand National Team since 2023, Thiengsri competed in nine events as a freshman at Oklahoma last season, recording a top-20 finish at the Schooner Fall Classic and playing for OU at the SEC Championship and NCAA Ann Arbor Regional. Through three stroke-play events this season, the Chiang Mai, Thailand, product has posted three top-20 finishes, including a victory and runner-up finish.

Oklahoma will look to close its historic fall campaign with a program-record fourth victory when it tees off at The Fin, Oct. 19-21, at Freestone Country Club in Freestone, Texas.
