NORMAN – Oklahoma Softball will have 12 players, 10 of which are on active rosters, competing across all six teams in the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) beginning Tuesday, June 9. The Sooners are tied with UCLA for the most former players competing in the AUSL.
Games are set to begin at 4 p.m. CT in Durham, NC, Oklahoma City, Okla. and Salt Lake City, Utah. The AUSL season will be available to watch on ESPN, MLB Network, MLB.com, MLB.TV and the MLB app throughout the summer.

Ailana Agbayani (2025-2026) will make her AUSL debut tonight while Jocelyn Alo (2018-2022), Rylie Boone (2020-2023), Alyssa Brito (2022-2024), Jayda Coleman (2021-2024), Kinzie Hansen-McKinzie (2020-2024), Tiare Jennings (2021-2024),
Sam Landry (2024), Haley Lee (2023), Kelly Maxwell (2024), Keilani Ricketts (2010-2013) and Sydney Romero (2016-2019) will suit up for their second season of AUSL play. Former Sooner Amber Flores (2007-10) will also be serving as the head coach of the Oklahoma City Spark. Hansen-McKinzie and Alo will start the season on the temporary inactive lists.

Ailana Agbayani (Chicago Bandits)
Agbayani is coming off her senior season as OU's every day second baseman, where she received an AUSL Golden Ticket to secure a spot in the 2026 AUSL College Draft. The 2025 Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner will join the Chicago Bandits as a third-round pick. Agbayani finished her collegiate career hitting .357 with 227 hits and 49 stolen bases while maintaining an excellent .967 fielding percentage. She was recognized as a three-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region selection and 2025 SEC All-Defensive Team member.
Jocelyn Alo (Chicago Bandits)
Alo, the NCAA Division I record holder for career home runs, will take her power-hitting to the Bandits alongside Agbayani as an inactive player. Her four seasons with the Sooners culminated in back-to-back national titles, where Alo was named the 2022 Women's College World Series (WCWS) Most Outstanding Player after batting .667 with five home runs, two doubles and 13 RBIs. Alo began playing professionally after being drafted No. 1 overall in the 2022 AU Pro Softball College Draft and continued on to represent the Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF) and USA Softball. She was named the 2022 Honda Sport Award Winner for Softball, 2022 ESPY Award Winner for Best College Athlete, and two-time USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year.
Rylie Boone (Texas Volts)
Boone returns to the AUSL as a Volt after playing with the Spark prior to their transition to the AUSL. The Oklahoma native helped lead the Sooners to four consecutive WCWS titles with a .407 batting average throughout her career. Boone earned a pair of First-Team NFCA All-Region awards and was selected twice for the WCWS All-Tournament Team. She currently represents Team Mexico.
Alyssa Brito (Carolina Blaze)
Brito will join veteran Ricketts on the Blaze for her second season of professional softball following her impressive debut with the Sparks in 2025. In 17 games, Brito compiled a .447 batting average with 23 RBIs and six home runs, four of which occurred in the final six games. She recently competed as a member of the 2026 United States Women's National Team pool during the Down Under Series in December of 2025. Brito was a two-time NFCA All-American and three-time national champion at OU, logging a .373 career batting average with 59 home runs, 198 RBIs and 240 career hits across her collegiate career.
Jayda Coleman (Utah Talons)
Coleman, an outfielder from The Colony, Texas, goes to the Talons as a gold medalist at the 2025 World Games for Team USA. Before winning at the international stage, Coleman led the Sooners to four-consecutive national titles. She concluded her collegiate career with a .415 batting average and 283 runs, also being named the 2023 Big 12 Player of the Year and 2023 WCWS All-Tournament Team with a total of four NFCA All-American awards and four First-Team All-Big 12 Conference honors.
Kinzie Hansen-McKinzie (OKC Spark)
Hansen-McKinzie, a catcher for the Sparks, will return to the organization for her third season as an inactive player. She led the Sparks to the 2024 Association of Fastpitch Professionals title and contributed significantly to their hitting in 2025. Hansen-McKinzie started 222 of 243 career games during OU's four consecutive WCWS championships, registering 60 home runs, 219 RBIs, and a .992 career fielding percentage. She was named the 2023 Johnny Bench Award winner for Best College Softball Catcher, 2023 NFCA First Team All-American, and 2023 WCWS All-Tournament Team.
Tiare Jennings (Texas Volts)
Jennings, a four-time NFCA All-American and four-time national champion at OU, will join Boone on the Volts. A native of San Pedro, Calif., Jennings also serves as a student assistant coach with OU Softball. The infielder goes down as one of the most decorated players in Sooner Softball history, hitting .412 with 314 hits, 277 runs, 64 doubles, 98 home runs and 314 RBIs. In 2021 she was named National Fastpitch Coaches Association Freshman of the Year. She goes down as the career record holder for RBIs at the WCWS with 29.
Sam Landry (Portland Cascade)
Landry pitches alongside Maxwell for the Cascade after being taken first overall by the Volts in the inaugural AUSL Draft last May. In one season with OU, Landry was named Southeastern Conference (SEC) Newcomer of the Year, First Team All-SEC and SEC All-Defensive Team. She also took home NFCA Second Team recognition, going 25-6 with 186 strikeouts in 191.2 innings of work for the Sooners. She was named SEC Pitcher of the Week three times and finished the 2025 season and her career as the winningest pitcher in Division I among active hurlers.
Haley Lee (OKC Spark)
Lee continues her professional career with the Spark, where she was selected No. 13 overall in the 2023 WPF Draft. During her redshirt-senior season with the Sooners, Lee became the 2023 Big 12 Championship Most Outstanding Player on the way to Oklahoma's 2023 WCWS title. She made 60 starts in 62 games across catcher, designated player and the outfield, earning 2023 NFCA All-Central Region Second Team.
Kelly Maxwell (Portland Cascade)
Maxwell comes to the Cascade following an international stint with Toyota Industries Shining Vega in the Japan Diamond League and World Cup experience representing Team USA. In one season with OU, Maxwell had a 23-2 record with a 1.94 ERA and 164 strikeouts in 155.1 innings. She was awarded the 2024 WCWS Most Outstanding Player during the Sooner's fourth consecutive championship run, culminating her career with a national title alongside three NFCA All-American selections.
Keilani Ricketts (Carolina Blaze)
Ricketts, a member of the 2013 OU national championship team, will compete with the Blaze in the latest chapter of her professional career. The two-way player also spent multiple seasons with the USSSA Pride (2013-18) and the Oklahoma City Spark (2023-24) after being honored as an All-American every season in Norman. Ricketts went 125-35 in the circle, working over 1,000 innings while also launching 47 homers and driving in 156 for Oklahoma. She was named the 2013 WCWS Most Outstanding Player during the Sooners' second title season.
Sydney Romero (OKC Spark)
Romero, currently an assistant coach on the Oregon Ducks Softball staff, was a two-time national champion with the Sooners after helping OU to the 2016 and 2017 crowns. The third baseman started 257 of her 258 games in the Crimson and Cream, hitting .375 with 54 home runs and 215 RBIs as a two-time NFCA First Team All-American. At the conclusion of her collegiate career, Romero was the career record holder for at-bats (853) and doubles (58).
