USA Softball Announces 10 Sooners On 2026 USWNT Rosters

NORMAN — Seven Sooner softball players and three coaches have been tabbed to represent the U.S. Women's National Team (WNT) across two international events in the coming months at Devon Park in Oklahoma City. The WNT will compete at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) World Cup Group C Stage Event as well as the USA Softball International Cup.

Oklahoma paces all collegiate teams with four members on the World Cup Group C roster. Sooners Alyssa Brito, Jayda Coleman, Tiare Jennings and Kelly Maxwell will suit up for the U.S. and take on Mexico, China, New Zealand, South Africa and the Netherlands between September 12-16.

OU is one of three programs with multiple selections to the Women's Elite Team, which will compete July 30-August 3. Current Sooners Gabbie Garcia and Kendall Wells join the team while Keilani Ricketts rounds out the group of Oklahoma alumnae competing with the U.S. this year. Wells debuts on the international stage while Garcia spent time at Team USA's training camp last fall.

Sooner coaches Patty Gasso, JT Gasso and Jennifer Rocha will help guide the U.S. in the World Cup Group Stage and Women's Elite Team competitions.
