Softball to Host Norman Regional May 15-17

Sooners Welcome Kansas, Michigan and Binghamton
NORMAN — Oklahoma Softball earned the third overall seed in the 2026 NCAA Softball Tournament and will host the 2026 Norman Regional at Love's Field May 15-17. The regional will feature Kansas, Michigan and Binghamton as announced during the NCAA Tournament Selection Show Sunday, May 10.
The Sooners are 48-8 and won their second consecutive Southeastern Conference (SEC) Regular Season Championship with a 20-4 league record, winning all eight SEC series.
2026 marks the 15th consecutive season at OU has hosted a regional and the third year regional play comes to Love's Field. The regional will get underway Friday, May 15 when the Sooners take on the Bearcats at 2:30 p.m. Michigan and Kansas will face off shortly after at 5 p.m.
Friday's winners will play game three on Saturday, May 16, while the losing teams from Friday will meet in game four shortly after. Saturday's games will conclude with the loser of game three and the winner of game four in a win-or-go-home meeting.
The winner of the Norman Regional moves on to the NCAA Super Regionals against the winner of the Eugene Regional hosted by the Oregon Ducks.
Oklahoma makes its 32nd-straight NCAA Tournament appearance. Last year the Sooners defeated Boston once and California twice during a 3-0 weekend to advance out of the Norman Regional.
Season ticket holders that requested postseason tickets will be charged Monday, May 11 in accordance with the confirmation email received last week from the Oklahoma Athletics ticket office.
A limited number of remaining reserved outfield all-session tickets will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, May 12 at 10 a.m. Outfield all-session tickets will be $87 a piece and are good for admission into each game of the tournament.
If tickets remain, single session seats will go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. Once all reserved seats have been sold, a limited number of standing room only tickets will be sold for each day. For ticket updates please refer to SoonerSports.com, the OU Ticket Office or by calling (405) 325-2424.
