Ella Parker homered three times as the Sooners belted seven home runs in a dominant, 15-2, five-inning win against No. 23/RV Washington (10-5) Sunday, Feb. 22.
Parker tallied just the ninth instance in program history where a player hit three home runs in a game. She was a part of a back-to-back-to-back sequence of home runs, as
Kasidi Pickering and
Kendall Wells preceded her in the rare feat.
Miali Guachino dealt her fourth win in the circle, fanning seven in five innings of work.

OU set the tone with a six-run first inning that featured a
Nelly McEnroe-Marinas three-run home run. Washington scored its only two runs of the game in the bottom half of the inning, scoring twice on a pair of solo home runs.
Ella Parker hit her first home run of the day in the second inning, bringing the lead to 7-2 after two innings. OU really created some distance with a four-run third inning as Pickering, Wells and Parker hit back-to-back-to-back home runs.
Guachino followed by fanning the side in the bottom half of the frame. Guachino struck out two more the rest of the way as
Ailana Agbayani and
Ella Parker both tallied two-run homers.
