BELLEAIR, Fla. – Savannah Barber tied for 11th as Oklahoma came up short of the eight-team cut on Wednesday, ending its run at the program's first SEC Championship.

The top eight teams after Wednesday's final round of stroke play advanced to match play, which begins Thursday. Ole Miss' Caitlyn Macnab claimed the individual SEC title at 9-under par.

Barber (T11, -1) was one of just 12 golfers to finish under par, carding her second straight even-par round to close the tournament. Starting on hole 10, the junior responded to an opening bogey with a birdie on 11, then fired three consecutive birdies on holes 16, 17 and 18. She played the front nine at 3-over to finish even for the day and closed with rounds of 69-70-70 to finish the week at 1-under.

Barber's performance continued a streak for Oklahoma, which has now produced a top-15 finisher at the conference championship in 14 consecutive seasons. She has now placed in the top 15 at back-to-back conference championships after finishing seventh at the 2024 Big 12 Championship.

Barber was the lone Sooner to finish inside the top 50. Gracie Mayo (T57, +11) and Reagan Chaney (T57, +11) tied for 57th, while Audrey Rischer (T70, +16) and MaKayla Tyrrell (T75, +19) rounded out the Oklahoma lineup.

In a stacked field that featured 10 teams inside the nation's top 25, South Carolina paced the field through stroke play, finishing six shots clear of the field. LSU, Texas and Ole Miss joined the Gamecocks as the only teams under par. Mississippi State, Arkansas, Florida and Tennessee completed the eight-team match play bracket.

The 36^th-ranked Sooners will now await their postseason fate and are expected to be among the 72 teams selected for an NCAA Regional. OU is set to host regional play at Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman, May 5-7. The NCAA Women's Golf Selection Show airs April 23.

Under head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell, Oklahoma has appeared in 11 regionals including three in the last four seasons.
