Joe Pedulla joined Oklahoma Athletics in August 2023 and serves as a Strength & Conditioning Coach.

In this role, he oversees program design & implementation for softball and women’s golf.

Prior to OU, he served as a minor league affiliate strength & conditioning coach for the Kansas City Royals from January 2022 to August 2023. In that role, he was with the Low-A Columbia Fireflies in 2022 and the High-A Quad Cities River Bandits for 2023. He oversaw strength and speed program design & implementation during the MiLB affiliate in-season periods, assisted with program design and rehab protocols during Spring Training and Instructional League periods and oversaw rehab & return to play programming alongside athletic training and medical staff.

Prior to his time with the Royals, he worked for the NJ FASSST from November 2020 to February 2021, and served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach from May 2021 to December 2021. In that role, he ran programming for all athletes, coached several college & high school athletes and led group training sessions for youth athletes.

Prior to his time in New Jersey, he was a Strength and Conditioning intern at Texas Christian University from June to July 2020. In that role, he assisted with football team training and was educated under Zach Dechant & performance staff.

Pedulla earned his Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology (magna cum laude) from Gordon College (MA). While at Gordon College, he switched from playing infield to pitching in the fall of 2017. He was named the 2018 Rookie of the Year & First Team All-Commonwealth Coast Conference, and also made First Team All-Conference in 2021. He began researching and studying strength and conditioning during his development as a pitcher.

Outside of work, he owns Pedulla Performance LLC – remote coaching for high school baseball players and remote programming/consulting for baseball and lacrosse players at Gordon College. His hobbies include playing guitar, reading and fishing.
