An OU graduate and former Athletics Department staffer, Brian Dude joined the Sooner Sports Properties staff in April 2022 as Manager of Business Development. Prior to returning to his alma mater, Dude spent the previous seven years at Oklahoma Baptist University, most recently serving as Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Operations.
In his role with the Bison he oversaw all external functions of the department including administrative supervision of ticket sales, sponsorships, branding and licensing, communications, graphic design, broadcasting, marketing and fan engagement, community relations, major gifts, and the Bison Athletic Association annual fund. He also served on the department’s Hall of Fame committee and as the sport administrator for baseball and women's golf.
Before joining the OBU administrative team in 2015, Dude served as director of annual giving for the Sooner Club, with oversight of the annual fund and priority seating programs and administration of the Sooner Schooner Courtesy Vehicle Program. He joined the Sooner Club as a development associate in 2008, following a four-year tenure in OU's Athletics Communications office where he served as the sports information director for the men's golf, and men's and women's gymnastics programs, as well as assisting with the communications efforts for Sooner football and men's and women's basketball.
A 2006 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of OU with a degree in journalism and public relations, Dude received his master's degree in intercollegiate athletics administration from OU in 2008. He resides in Norman with his wife, Kristen, and their three children, Jackson, Campbell and Dolly Kate.
