Women's Golf Opens Season at The Bruzzy

NORMAN ā Oklahoma women's golf opens its 2026-27 campaign Tuesday at The Bruzzy at Trophy Club Country Club in Trophy Club, Texas. The Sooners will play 36 holes on TuesdayĀ before concluding the tournament Wednesday, with team and individual champions set to be crowned.
The Sooners enter the season with a new-look lineup under 18th-year head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell after four key contributors from last season's squad graduated.
Sophomore Meg Tilma leads Oklahoma's opening-day lineup, followed by junior Audrey Rischer, junior transfer Anna Kate Nichols, fifth-year MaKayla Troutman and junior transfer Nancy Cox. Sophomore Satonkan Thiengsri will compete as an individual.
The Bruzzy marks Oklahoma's first competition of the 2026-27 season and its first appearance in the event since 2024. The Sooners finished tied for fifth in their most recent appearance.
LAST TIME OUT
Oklahoma finished eighth at the 2026 NCAA Ann Arbor Regional to close its season. Tilma, Rischer and Thiengsri all saw action at the event, each finishing outside of the top 30.Ā

THE COURSE
All rounds will be contested at the par-72 Trophy Club Country Club. Shaped by Ben Hogan in collaboration with architect Joe Lee, Trophy Club is one of the toughest tests in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.Ā

FORMAT
The two-day tournament will include 36 holes on Tuesday and conclude with 18 holes on Wednesday. Both days will tee off with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
