XC Opens Season at Cowboy Preview

NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma men's and women's cross country teams begin the 2025 season at the Cowboy Preview on Friday morning at the Greiner Family Cross Country Course in Stillwater, Okla.

The men kick off with a 5K at 7:45 a.m., followed by the women competing in a 3K at 8:15 a.m. Four teams are expected to compete at Saturday's exhibition, with Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Tulsa set for Saturday's races.

OU's men's team enters the season ranked fifth in the SEC, while the women follow just behind at sixth.
