Oklahoma Hosts Schooner Fall Classic in Norman This Weekend

September 18, 2026 | Women's Golf

NORMAN – Fresh off its first season-opening tournament title in nearly 20 years, Oklahoma women's golf returns to action this weekend when it hosts the 14th annual Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Club in Norman. The tournament tees off Saturday morning, with teams playing 54 holes through Monday to determine a team champion.

Head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell, in her 18th season at OU, will look to lead the Sooners to their first multiple-win season since 2017-18.

The Sooners' lineup is anchored by sophomore Meg Tilma, who was named SEC Golfer of the Week on Wednesday after opening the season with a victory at The Bruzzy. Tilma set an OU freshman 54-hole scoring record last season with a 202 (-8) at the Schooner Fall Classic, where she competed unattached from the lineup. Junior Audrey Rischer follows Tilma in the lineup and will hunt her second career victory, while Anna Kate Nichols, MaKayla Troutman and Nancy Cox round out Oklahoma's starting five.

The rest of the Sooners' roster will compete as individuals, with Ryan Donaldson and Valentina Guertin making their collegiate debuts, while Ellison Lundquist and Satonkan Thiengsri return to action.

In the 2025 edition of the Schooner Fall Classic, Oklahoma finished third at 8-under par, led by Reagan Chaney, who tied for fifth.

Led by 18th-year head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell, Oklahoma posted the second-lowest 54-hole score in program history at 33-under par and claimed the wire-to-wire victory by 10 strokes. All five Sooners finished inside the top 20, as Oklahoma carded a 33-under-par 831.
