Oklahoma Enters Final Round Ninth at NCAA Ann Arbor Regional

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – No. 23 Oklahoma women's golf will enter Wednesday's final round at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional in ninth place and needing a late push to secure a spot at the NCAA Championships.
The fourth-seeded Sooners posted a 14-over 298 during Tuesday's second round at the par-71 University of Michigan Golf Course and sit at 26-over par through 36 holes. Oklahoma trails the top-five cut line by 18 shots entering the final round of regional play.
The top five teams at each regional site will advance to the NCAA Championships, scheduled for May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
Reagan Chaney led the Sooners on Tuesday with an even-par 71, the team's best round of the tournament, and climbed into a tie for 27th individually at 4-over par overall. Gracie Mayo is tied for 30th at 5-over after carding a 4-over 75 in the second round, while Audrey Rischer sits tied for 35th at 7-over following a 3-over 74. Savannah Barber is tied for 45th at 10-over after a 7-over 78, and Earn Thiengsri is tied for 63rd at 20-over par.
In the team standings, fifth-seeded Ohio State leads the 12-team field heading into Wednesday, followed by reigning national champion Northwestern, Southern California, Texas Tech and Duke in the top five. The Blue Devils hold on to the fifth spot at 8-over par.
Northwestern's Ashley Yun holds the individual lead at 7-under par through two rounds.
Oklahoma tees off alongside Kansas and UNLV on Wednesday beginning at 7:55 a.m. CT. Meg Tilma will enter the lineup for the Sooners in the final round.
