Men's Golf Tees Off at Maridoe on Monday

NORMAN — No. 15 Oklahoma men's golf returns to a course and tournament where they've found historic success this week as it tees off on Monday at the Maridoe Collegiate at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas.

The Sooners are one of four top-20 teams at the two-day, 54-hole event and will look for win No. 2 of the season. Last season, OU swept the titles at the event as Jase Summy won medalist honors powering Oklahoma to the team title. Ryder Cowan and Clark Van Gaalen also finished in the top 10 for the Sooners at the 2025 tournament. Oklahoma also won the event in 2021.

Teams will tee off on Monday morning and play 36 holes and the final round is set for Tuesday.

Head coach Ryan Hybl's lineup features its trio of top-10 finishers from last year's Maridoe Collegiate in Summy, Cowan and Van Gaalen, along with Matthew Troutman and freshman Coltrane Mittag. Cameron Cheek will compete unattached.

THE FIELD

No. 7 Oklahoma State, No. 9 Arizona State, No. 15 Oklahoma, No. 16 Alabama, followed by Baylor, Boston College, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State, North Texas, Sam Houston and UNCG, and UTRGV.
