Men's Golf Takes on Elite Field at Valspar Collegiate

NORMAN — No. 14 Oklahoma men's golf looks to return to the win column this week at the Valspar Collegiate, a 54-hole event held at Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Fla. The two-day, five-count-four tournament tees off Monday morning.

The Sooners are one of 11 top-25 teams at the 16-team event. Oklahoma finished fourth at last year's Valspar event and fifth in the season before. At the 2025 invitational, Jase Summy fired a 197 (-16), the fifth-lowest score in OU history.

Head coach Ryan Hybl's lineup remains unchanged from the team's card at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate last week. Summy, Ryder Cowan and Clark Van Gaalen take the top-three bags, as Coltrane Mittag and Cam Cheek round out the five.
