Sooners Unveil 2025 SEC Volleyball Slate

NORMAN – The Southeastern Conference (SEC) announced Thursday the 2025 SEC Volleyball schedule under third-year head coach Aaron Mansfield.
With the addition of Vanderbilt for the 2025 season, all 16 member institutions will feature volleyball for the first time. Each institution will play each of the other member schools once, either home or away, for a 15-match conference schedule. This season will also mark the return of the SEC Volleyball Tournament.
OU enters its second season of SEC play coming off a strong first year that saw the team finish 8-8 with wins over then-No. 20 Tennessee and then-No. 9 Texas. Nine of Oklahoma's 15 conference opponents advanced to the 2024 NCAA Tournament: Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M. Kentucky reached the Elite Eight and Missouri, Florida, Texas and Texas A&M made the Sweet 16. Five opponents also finished in the top 25 of the AVCA Coaches Poll: No. 8 Kentucky, No. 11 Texas, No. 14 Florida, No. 16 Texas A&M and No. 19 Missouri.
The Sooners will host eight matches inside McCasland Field House in 2025, welcoming LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Georgia, Auburn, Mississippi State, Alabama and Arkansas to Norman. The Sooners will travel to Vanderbilt, Missouri, Texas A&M, Texas, Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Oklahoma will start conference play with two matches inside McCasland Field House, hosting LSU on Sept. 26 and Ole Miss on Sept. 28.
OU will then travel to Vanderbilt for the first time in program history on Oct. 3, before heading to Missouri on Oct. 5.
The Sooners return home for a pair of matches against South Carolina (Oct. 10) and Georgia (Oct. 12) before hitting the road for three straight games.
The road trip begins with a Texas two-step as the Sooners face Texas A&M on Oct. 17 and Texas on Oct. 19. A midweek matchup at Florida on Oct. 22 closes out the road swing.
OU returns to McCasland Field House for a four-game stretch, hosting Auburn (Oct. 26), Arkansas (Oct. 29), Mississippi State (Nov. 5) and Alabama (Nov. 7).
The regular season wraps up with trips to Kentucky (Nov. 14) and Tennessee (Nov. 16).
The SEC Volleyball Tournament will be held Nov. 21-25 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Ga.
