Soccer Starts October at Alabama

NORMAN — Oklahoma Soccer starts October on the road as the Sooners take on Alabama Thursday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. in Tuscaloosa.

LAST TIME OUT
OU and No. 12 South Carolina were even at halftime, but the Gamecocks scored a pair of goals off of corner kicks as the Sooners lost, 2-0, despite outshooting South Carolina.

SERIES HISTORY
OU and Alabama are meeting for the first time in over 25 years … the series is tied, 1-1 … OU made one other trip to Tuscaloosa, falling 1-0 in overtime Sept. 3, 1999 … OU defeated Alabama, 2-1, Sept. 10, 2000.
