THE STARTING FIVE
- The Sooners enter Thursday's game ranked No. 13 in the latest NET ranking, while Texas A&M sits at No. 79, making Sunday's matchup a Quad 3 contest for OU. Oklahoma has excelled in Quad 3/4 games this season, boasting a 9-0 record with an average margin of victory of 38.2 points. Looking ahead, nine of OU's final 13 conference games are against Quad 1/2 opponents.
- All three of Oklahoma's conference games this season have been decided by single digits, with the Sooners falling to No. 5 Texas by seven and Mississippi State by four, while defeating No. 15 Tennessee by one. This marks just the second time in program history (1988-89) that OU's first three conference games have been decided by seven points or fewer. Since Baranczyk's arrival in 2021, the Sooners are 30-10 in single-digit games and an impressive 15-1 in contests decided by one possession..
- The Sooners have won 16 of their last 17 games at Lloyd Noble Center, with the only loss coming against No. 5 Texas on Jan. 2. Oklahoma has defeated 13 consecutive unranked opponents in Norman and has not lost a conference home game to an unranked foe since March 5, 2022, against Kansas - a streak of 20 straight wins.
- In the Baranczyk era, Oklahoma has posted a 47-8 home record, including a 23-5 mark in home conference play and a 24-3 record in home non-conference matchups.
- In the latest ESPN bracketology on Jan. 10, Oklahoma was tabbed as a No. 4 seed, which would provide hosting duties in the tournament for the second time of the Baranczyk era (2022).
LAST TIME OUT
Jerkaila Jordan scored 24 points, 18 in the second half, and Mississippi State held on for a 81-77 win over No. 10 Oklahoma. Liz Scott added 12 for Oklahoma (13-3, 1-2).
SERIES HISTORY

The Sooners lead the all-time series 27-21, but Texas A&M has won eight of the last nine meetings. Despite the Aggies recent hold on the series, Oklahoma is 17-3 all-time in Norman vs. A&M.
The series is one of runs as OU won 18 of 20 from 1999-2006, while A&M has won 10 of the last 12.
