Caitlin Fournier joined Oklahoma Athletics in February 2020 and serves as the Director of Fan Engagement and Community Relations.
 
In this role, she oversees marketing for women’s gymnastics and softball, as well as fan experience and game production elements. Fournier is also the secondary football contact as an on-field producer and the community relations liaison for the athletics department with oversight of volunteering and services, fan development, grassroots marketing, non-profit relationship and women’s basketball’s annual field trip day game.
 
Prior to Oklahoma, she served as the Game Entertainment Coordinator for the New Orleans Pelicans and Saints.
 
In that role, she booked and managed entertainment components for the Pelicans, including the National Anthem and halftime performances. Fournier was the on-court producer for all Pelicans games and the assistant show-caller for Saints games, which earned the best fan experience award in the NFL.
 
Prior to her time in New Orleans, she was a graduate assistant in marketing and community relations at OU. In that role, she managed the Sooner Jr. Kids Club, raising it to its highest total membership and oversaw the Party at the Palace on football game days. Fournier also assisted with men’s basketball game production as the on-court producer and oversaw fan development initiatives in Oklahoma elementary schools.
 
Fournier earned her Bachelor of Arts in communications with a public relations emphasis and minor in marketing (magna cum laude) from Mississippi State University and earned her Master of Education in adult and higher education from OU. While at Mississippi State, she worked as a tour guide, for football recruiting and athletics marketing.
 
Fournier hails from Mississippi, but moved to Pensacola, Florida, after Hurricane Katrina. She is a second-generation Sooner – her father graduated from OU in 1983 and 1991. Outside of work, she teaches and takes dance classes in the OKC metro, serves on the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels of Norman and Visit Norman. She also serves as the membership adviser for the Phi Mu chapter at Oklahoma City University. In 2022, she was named an Oklahoma’s next gen under 30 award winner and in 2023, named the greater Oklahoma City alumnae panhellenic Woman of the Year for Phi Mu.
