Before coming to Norman, Tate served as the technical coordinator at the University of Washington where he assisted with all aspects of statistical analysis both in practice and in competition, combined with video coordination and opponent scouting.

Prior to his time at Washington, Tate was on staff at the University of New Mexico serving as both the technical coordinator and director of operations overseeing all aspects of travel, equipment, budget, and youth camps, as well as video, statistics, and scouting duties.

In February of 2024, Tate was selected as an analyst for the U.S. Women’s National Team Open Program in Colorado Springs, Colo.

A native of Houston, Texas, Tate earned his B.S. in Sport Management with a minor in Business from Texas A&M, graduating in 2022. He and his wife Alli were married in 2024.
