Set for Ranked Matchup at John Crain Field

NORMAN — It'll be a meeting between two undefeated teams within conference play as No. 7/12 Alabama comes to John Crain Field for a noon kickoff Sunday, Sept. 27.

HOW TO FOLLOW
The game will be streamed on SEC Network with live stats available on statbroadcast.com. Glenn Davis (play-by-play) and Ian Carry (color commentary) will be on the broadcast. Sunday's game is one of two nationally televised regular season matches this year, with the other coming next Sunday at Texas on SEC Network.

Sunday's match is OU's alumni match and also City of Norman Day. Fans in attendance are able to receive an OU soccer scarf.

SERIES HISTORY

OU and Alabama are meeting for only the fourth time and just the second time in Norman. The Sooners pace the all-time series, 2-1, while also winning the only meeting in Norman in 2000. Kayla Keefer and Ally Laccinole scored in last year's 3-1 win at Alabama.

IN THE RANKINGS

Oklahoma reached its highest ranking of the season, coming in at No. 21 in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Organization for Coaches as well as No. 18 in the Top Drawer Soccer Poll.

LAST TIME OUT

Kayla Keefer became the first Sooner in program history to notch three hat tricks in the same season as the Sooners defeated LSU, 3-1, in front of 2,231 fans at John Crain Field.

THE SCOUT

Alabama comes in ranked seventh in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Organization for Coaches Poll and 12th in the TopDrawer Soccer poll. Alabama was tabbed to finish ninth in the league per the SEC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

The Crimson Tide are fueled by 2025 SEC Newcomer of the Year Larkin Thomason. The striker leads the team with eight goals, ranking fourth in the league.

Sunday's match marks the first time OU has hosted a ranked matchup at John Crain Field since No. 18 OU welcomed No. 12 Colorado to John Crain in October of 2003.

STATISTICAL RANKINGS

The Sooners lead the SEC in points (118), goals (40), and goal differential (+32). Entering Thursday OU also ranked second in the country in all of those categories only to Purdue.

UNBEATEN TEAMS

Oklahoma is one of only 18 unbeaten teams and only one of seven unbeaten Power Four programs in the nation. It's the only time in school history that the Sooners have been unbeaten through the first 10 matches.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

Freshman Kate McCallister earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors Monday after scoring the equalizer in the win at Georgia. It's the second such honor for the Sooners since joining the league after Ally Laccinole earned the recognition last season.

NOTABLE NUMBERS

4: OU is looking for four-consecutive conference wins for the first time in program history. Oklahoma won three in a row in Big 12 play most recently in 2005.

22: The Sooners are 5-0 at home with a +22 goal differential (25 goals for, three allowed). The Sooners have scored at least three goals in every home match.

25: Freshmen Kennedy Kaiser and Kate McCallister have combined for 19 of the 25 points tallied by freshmen this season, with 10 coming from Kaiser's five goals and seven from three goals and an assist by McCallister.

40: OU set the program single-season goals record Thursday, breaking the previously held mark of 38 which was set in 2024 and 2025.
