TULSA — Oklahoma had a 1-0 lead for over 63 minutes, but an Oral Roberts (5-0-1) penalty kick brought the game to a 1-1 tie in the 82nd as the Sooners (4-0-2) and Golden Eagles played to a draw at the Case Soccer Complex Sunday night.

Kayla Keefer scored for Sooners with her SEC-leading ninth goal of the year.

Callie Sullivan saved ORU's first clean attempt on goal in the early minutes of the first half before OU got on the board minutes later.

Keefer corralled a loose ball near the top of the 18-yard box and slotted it above ORU's Alyson Sebban to give OU a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute. Keefer nearly notched a brace in the ensuing minutes, but Sebban made a diving stop on a penalty kick to keep ORU within one.

Neither team threatened heavily over the middle minutes of the game. Both sides shared shots off the top of the crossbar in the second half, with Claire Curran ripping one off the woodwork for OU in an attempt at widening its lead to two.

ORU finally broke through in the 82nd. A foul in the box was reviewed and confirmed, awarding ORU's Brianna Castleberry for a chance at the spot inside the box. She converted, tying the game and sending it to a 1-1 finish at full time.
