NORMAN — Oklahoma Soccer's
Naomi Clark,
Caroline Duffy,
Kayla Keefer,
Hadley Murrell,
Michelle Pak and
Alexis Washington were tabbed to the Southeastern Conference's (SEC) 2025 Preseason Watch List as announced by the league office Tuesday.
Six is a program high after five were named to the squad in OU's first season in the SEC last fall. Murrell and Washington earned their second selection to the SEC Preseason Watch List after earning the nod in 2024.
Clark, a forward from Parker, Colo., transferred into OU after two seasons with Washington State. The junior appeared in 38 contests for the Cougars, logging 11 points across 1,356 minutes. The striker put up a highly lauded career in the high school ranks in Colorado, leading Grandview High School to the 2022 5A Colorado State Championship while posting 45 goals.
Duffy enters her senior season and second season in Norman after a strong junior campaign with OU. The keeper started all 18 contests in goal for Oklahoma last year, turning in 67 saves and a pair of double-digit save performances. This summer she was tabbed to the USLW First Team All-League squad for her play with the Annapolis Blues FC. Duffy spent her freshman and sophomore seasons with Duke.
Keefer puts on the Crimson and Cream for the first time in the fall of 2025 after playing her freshman season at Ole Miss last fall. A native of Bloomsburg, Pa., Keefer was named SEC Freshman of the Week August 19 after posting a hat trick in her first collegiate game. All told she saw time in 16 matches, making 12 starts.
A veteran forward for OU, Murrell enters her senior year as OU's leading scorer among all returners. The Prosper, Texas, native has appeared in 55 games and made 40 starts since 2022, logging seven goals and eight assists across 3,239 minutes played. Murrell joins Pak and Washington as rising seniors on the SEC Preseason Watch List that have already earned three letters with OU.
Pak returns for her senior campaign as a familiar face at midfielder, having played in 52 games since coming to Norman from Coppell, Texas. The senior scored a pair of times in 2024, including a game-winning header in OU's first-ever SEC win, a 2-1 victory at Texas A&M.
Washington gears up for her senior season as a known playmaker on the attack for the Sooners. The San Antonio, Texas, native was named to the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Midfielder's to Watch List after earning all-region honors after the 2024 season. With 18 career assists, Washington needs two more to set the Oklahoma career record for assists.
The Sooners open the 2025 season against Creighton Thursday, August 14 at 7 p.m. at John Crain Field.
