THE MORE YOU KNOW

HOW WE GOT HERE
The Sooners were the top team out of the afternoon session in Thursday's semifinal competitions. OU earned a 197.550 to advance to the finals. Missouri (197.300) finished in second place while Florida finished in third (197.200) and Alabama came in fourth (196.825).

ON THE AIR
The Four on the Floor will air live on ABC and will also be available on WatchESPN and the ESPN app. John Roethlisberger, Sam Peszek and Aly Raisman will be on the call, with Taylor Davis on the floor. New this year is individual team streams on ESPN+ where fans can follow their team throughout the entire meet. Kennedy Baker, Bridget Sloan, Trinity Thomas, Anastasia Webb will be on the call for the individual streams.

ROTATION ORDER
In the finals, the Sooners will begin on beam before rotating floor, vault, bars. Missouri will begin on vault, Utah on bars and UCLA on floor. OU last started on beam in the finals at the 2018 NCAA Championships.

ALL-AROUND GLORY
Jordan Bowers put an exclamation point on her career Thursday night. The senior earned the 2025 NCAA All-Around title with a 39.7125 in semifinal competition. She is the first all-around champion since Anastasia Webb in 2021 and the fourth in OU history, joining Maggie Nichols and Kelly Garrison. Bowers is the 10th individual champion for Oklahoma, bringing the program total to 22 individual national titles.

Bowers also picked up a runner-up finish on floor for the third time in her career and a third-place finish on bars. She finished on the podium on all four events, coming in eighth on vault and beam.

ALL-AMERICAN GIRLS
Six members of the Oklahoma women's gymnastics team combined for a nation-leading 15 All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA Championships.

Championship All-America honors are based on individual finishes in Thursday's semifinal sessions with first team honors going to gymnasts who finish in the top four of their semifinal and second team recognition to those who finish in positions five through eight.

Jordan Bowers and Faith Torrez each tallied five All-America honors taking home recognition on all four events and in the all-around. This marked the second time in program history that two OU gymnasts earned five honors in the same season as Anastasia Webb and Olivia Trautman achieved the feat in 2021. The duo joins Webb, Trautman, Maggie Nichols, Chayse Capps and Kelly Garrison as the only gymnasts to claim all five honors in one season.

Dani Sievers earned her fourth All-America honor with a second team nod on floor.

A trio of freshmen earned a combined four All-America honors. Lily Pederson earned second team honors on vault and bars, Elle Mueller was named to the second team on vault and Addison Fatta earned first team recognition in the all-around. Fatta is the first freshman since Erica Brewer in 2012 to earn All-America honors in the all-around.

POSTSEASON SUCCESS
Postseason has become a strength of the Sooners under 19-year head coach K.J. Kindler. Since 2010, OU owns 13 seasons in which it has captured a conference (regular season or tournament) and regional championship in the same season, accomplishing the feat in 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012 and 2010. The Sooners claimed the 2025 SEC Regular Season Championship before going on to win their 15th straight regional crown in Seattle, Wash.

OU has advanced to the NCAA Championship 24 times in program history, including every season dating back to 2004. OU has never missed NCAA competition under Kindler's leadership. Since 2016, the Sooners have placed in the top two in eight of nine seasons and won national titles in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2023.

ROAD WARRIORS
In the last decade, the Sooners have shown they are a force to be reckoned with away from the friendly confines of Lloyd Noble Center. Since 2015, the Sooners boast a 241-15 record on the road, a 93.9 percent win rate. This includes a 61-6 record at true away competition sites and a 182-9 mark at neutral sites. In 2025, the Sooners are 27-2 in road meets.
