Men's Tennis to Host Tulsa, Travel to San Diego

NORMAN – The No. 12 Oklahoma men's tennis team hosts Tulsa on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 6 p.m. CT before heading west on their first road trip of the season to take on No. 10 San Diego Saturday, Feb. 8, at 4 p.m. CT.
LAST TIME OUT
The Sooners swept a Saturday doubleheader against Air Force and Oral Roberts with 7-0 wins over both opponents. OU debuted two new doubles teams for their Saturday matches, both of which went 2-0 over the weekend. Kholo Montsi and Luis Alvarez paired up for the first time this season at the one spot and Oscar Lacides and Vojtech Petr teamed up at the three line. On the singles side, Jordan Hasson extended his win streak and is undefeated this season.
FIRST SERVE
The midweek matchup between the Sooners and the Golden Hurricane marks the second meeting between the programs this season. Oklahoma faced Tulsa in the first round of ITA Kickoff Weekend winning, 4-0. Wednesday's competition can be watched through live stream or live stats. The match will be country themed to honor lifelong Sooner Toby Keith.
After Wednesday's match, the Sooners will travel to San Diego for Saturday's competition. Last season's match against San Diego sparked an 11-match win streak for the Sooners. The win also marked the first of three top-15 wins for OU in the 2024 season. This weekend's match can be followed through live stream and live stats.
