Duffy, Brown and Laccinole Make All-Conference Team

NORMAN — Oklahoma Soccer's Riley Brown, Caroline Duffy and Ally Laccinole were recognized by the Southeastern Conference (SEC) with all-league accolades as voted on by the conference's coaches. Brown and Duffy earned spots on the SEC Third Team, while Laccinole registered a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team as announced Thursday, Oct. 30.

The trio takes home the first All-SEC honors in program history after Oklahoma joined the league in 2024. The Sooners now have 41 all-league honorees since the inception of OU Soccer.

Brown, a senior from Tucson, Ariz., started all 18 games for the Sooners after transferring from Washington ahead of the 2025 season. The defender helped OU turn in five shutouts while playing all 90 minutes in 11 different contests. Her 1,574 minutes played paces all OU outfielders. The senior chipped in on the attack with a key assist in the Sooners' 2-1 win against Florida Sept. 18.

Duffy, a senior from Clarksville, Md., put up one of the best seasons in goal across the SEC this season, tallying a 10-win season for the second straight year. The keeper started all 18 games in goal for the Sooners, putting up four shutouts, 48 saves and a 71.6 percent save percentage. Duffy was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week twice this season, taking home the honor Oct. 6 and 13, the first two such awards for a Sooner in program history. Effective on set pieces, Duffy also added two assists on the attacking side of the game.

Laccinole, a freshman from Woodinville, Wash., came onto the scene early, taking home SEC Freshman of the Week honors after the opening week of the season. She was also selected to Top Drawer Soccer's Top 100 Freshmen Midseason List, starting 17 of 18 matches while logging 90 minutes in 10 of those contests. She came up with an assist in OU's 4-1 win against No. 22 Oklahoma State Aug. 17 and headed in the game-winning goal off a corner kick in the Sooners' 3-1 win at Alabama Oct. 2.

The Sooners make their debut in the SEC Tournament this weekend, taking on eight-seed Mississippi State Sunday, Nov. 2 at 4:30 p.m. in the first round.
