Sooner Tennis Set to Host ITA Kickoff Weekend

NORMAN – The No. 10 Oklahoma men's tennis team is set to host ITA Kickoff Weekend at the Headington Family Tennis Center, Jan. 25-26.

The Sooners host this year's tournament after ending the 2024 season as the No. 11 team in the nation. One team from each of the 14 host sites across the country will advance to the ITA National Indoor Championships, hosted by Baylor and SMU from Feb. 14-18. OU heads into their fourth home match of the season with a 3-0 record after wins over Omaha, Cornell and UT Arlington in the opening weekend of competition.

Oklahoma will be joined by No. 18 Stanford, Tulsa and Oregon at the Norman host site.

The Cardinal and Ducks will face off in the first match of the weekend on Saturday at 10 a.m. The match can be tracked through live stream or live stats.

The Sooners take on the Golden Hurricane on Saturday at 1 p.m. with hopes to advance to the championship match on Sunday. Live stream for the match is available here and live stats are available here.

On Sunday, the losing teams will face off at 10 a.m. The match can be tracked through live stream and live stats.

Following Sunday's consolation match, the winning teams will meet in the championship match at 1 p.m. Live stream and live stats are available for the competition.

Admission to the Headington Family Tennis Center is free and fans have the chance to receive free t-shirts, posters and poms.
