Emily Poston joined Oklahoma Athletics in January 2021 and serves as an Athletic Trainer.
 
In this role, she provides healthcare services to OU student-athletes through prevention, management and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and supports student athletes in all their endeavors and ambitions.
 
Prior to Oklahoma, Poston served as a Fellow Athletic Trainer at the University of Michigan from July 2020 to December 2020. Prior to her time with Michigan, Poston was a graduate assistant Athletic Trainer at Oklahoma.
 
Poston earned a Bachelor of Science in athletic training from Florida State University and earned a Master of Education in intercollegiate athletic administration from the University of Oklahoma.
 
Poston hails from Jacksonville, Florida, and chose to return to Oklahoma after her time as a graduate assistant with the Sooners. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, coffee, and spending time with her dog, Bailey.
