Keldon Peak will enter his third season as the Assistant Director of Strength and Performance/Sport Science Coordinator in 2024-25.
Peak is responsible for Oklahoma Women's Basketball's strength and conditioning program, overseeing program design and implementation for all aspects of performance enhancement and facilitating OU's sports science initiative, optimizing athlete performance and mitigating injury risk.
With Peak on the women's basketball performance staff, the Sooners boast a .740 winning percentage, have won two Big 12 championships and never missed the NCAA Tournament. Notably, under Peak's conditioning program, Oklahoma stands out as the only Power Six team in the nation to finish inside the top 11 nationally in pace during the last three seasons.
Before joining the women’s basketball staff full-time, Peak served as the graduate assistant strength and performance coach, working with Oklahoma men’s tennis and assisting with men’s and women’s basketball.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Oklahoma in 2020 and completed his Master's in Exercise Physiology in 2023.
Peak is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is recognized as a Corrective Exercise Specialist by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Additionally, he is Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified by Precision Nutrition.
Peak and his wife, Raelynn, live in Oklahoma City with their dog, Aegon.
