SEC Announces 2027 Baseball Conference Schedule

NORMAN — The Southeastern Conference announced Oklahoma Baseball's 10-series, 30-game 2027 conference schedule Tuesday.
The defending national champion Oklahoma's third season in the SEC includes five road series and five home series at Kimrey Family Stadium. The Sooners are slated to meet eight conference opponents that made the 2026 NCAA Tournament, including series against five Super Regional teams and a pair of College World Series participants in Georgia and Texas.
OU begins its slate with a road series at Tennessee, March 19-21, the Sooners first series in Knoxville in program history. The Sooners host Auburn, March 25-27, for the SEC home-opening weekend at Kimrey Family Stadium in Norman.
Oklahoma hosts reigning SEC champion and 2026 CWS foe Georgia, April 2-4, before heading to College Station, Texas, to meet Texas A&M, April 9-11. The series marks OU's first trip to College Station since 2012 when the teams were Big 12 opponents. The Sooners then play host to Kentucky, April 16-18, for the Wildcats first ever trip to Norman.
The Sooners play consecutive road series for the only time of the conference season when they head to Columbia, Mo., April 23-25 to meet Missouri and Starkville, Miss., to play Mississippi State, April 30-May 2. It will mark OU's first trip to Starkville since a 1992 NCAA Regional.
OU hosts Red River rival Texas in Norman, May 7-9, before the team's final road series of the season May 14-16 at Ole Miss. The series will be Oklahoma's first trip to Oxford, Miss., since an NCAA Regional in 2005.
OU closes its conference slate with a home series against South Carolina, May 20-22. It will be the Gamecocks first ever trip to Norman.
It has already been announced that OU will take part in two premier early-season tournaments in the 2027 Shriners College Showdown, Feb. 19-21, and the Frisco Classic, March 5-7.
The Sooners will face Arizona, Clemson and TCU at the Shriners Showdown at Globe Life Field in Arlington. Tickets are available here. Oklahoma meets Kansas, Southern Miss and UC Irvine at Riders Field in Frisco with tickets on sale now.
Oklahoma's complete non-conference slate, game times and TV information will be released at a later date. Schedule is subject to change with TV scheduling.

The Sooners enter 2027 with a wave of momentum coming off the program's third national title in 2026, a remarkable run that saw the team defeat nine national seeds in the NCAA tournament en route to their first national title since 1994. Oklahoma went 14-16 in conference play, winning four of 10 series before catching fire in the NCAA tournament and running to the title with an 11-2 record in postseason play.
The 2027 Sooners return 14 student-athletes from a season ago, including freshman All-American LHP Cord Rager and CWS All-Tournament team honorees Dasan Harris and Jason Walk. The team welcomes 25 newcomers, including 19 transfers, this fall as team practice begins later this month.
