NORMAN ā Oklahoma sophomore guard Keeley Parks will miss the 2026-27 season after suffering a non-contact knee injury in practice last week. She will undergo surgery on the knee following the team's return from a season-opening trip to Paris.
"We're heartbroken for Keeley," head coach Jennie Baranczyk said. "She worked so hard this offseason to get ready for the year, and it's devastating to see her season end before it begins. Our focus is on supporting her in every way possible throughout her recovery. Keeley is a competitor, and we know she'll approach thisĀ with the same determination and toughness she brings to the court every day. Our entire program is behind her, and we look forward to having her back on the floor."
A Norman native, Parks joined the Sooners this offseason after spending her freshman season at Kansas. Prior to her time in Lawrence, Parks starred at Norman High School, where she earned Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year honors twice. She was ranked as the No. 16 overall player in the 2025 class by USA Today Sports and No. 31 by ESPN.
The Sooners open their 2026-27 season Monday at 1:30 p.m. CT against No. 12 North Carolina in Paris, France.
