NORMAN – Oklahoma scored on its first possession and never trailed as it defeated Southern Nazarene, 124-39, in an exhibition game Sunday afternoon at Lloyd Noble Center.

The 21st-ranked Sooners have now won all six exhibition contests under sixth-year head coach Jennie Baranczyk by an average of 65.8 points per game, with Sunday's 85-point victory marking their largest exhibition win of the Baranczyk era.

"I thought that our depth today was really good," Baranczyk said. "We are such a young team and I felt like we needed to get the nerves out early, and we really turned it up a notch after that first timeout. It was a good final tune-up for us and we know that we've got a game against a really talented and deep North Carolina team next week in Paris, so we'll get back to work."

After Southern Nazarene pulled within one midway through the opening quarter, Oklahoma took control with a 27-0 run that stretched into the second period. The Sooners carried a commanding lead into halftime and never let up, closing the game on a 32-0 run to put away the Division II Crimson Storm.

Brooklyn Stewart led all scorers with 21 points as seven Sooners finished in double figures, including 14 points and nine assists from 2026 ESPN National Freshman of the Year Aaliyah Chavez, who posted a game-high plus-minus of +51. All 14 Sooners saw action Sunday, with 13 finding the scoring column.

The Sooners open the regular season in Paris against No. 12 North Carolina on Nov. 2 at 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
