COLUMBIA, S.C. ā Behind a balanced offensive attack that featured five players with at least six kills, Oklahoma volleyball secured its first SEC victory of the season Friday night with a 3-1 win (25-16, 23-25, 25-21, 25-16) over South Carolina at the Carolina Volleyball Center.
Oklahoma (8-3, 1-1 SEC) hit above .300 in three of four sets and responded to a narrow second-set loss by taking the final two frames to earn its first conference road victory. The Sooners totaled 65 kills on .333 hitting.
Junior
Alaleh Tolliver and sophomore
Tekoa Barnes combined for 38 kills to lead the Sooners. Tolliver recorded a match-high 20 kills on .457 hitting, while Barnes added 18 kills on a .500 clip. Sophomore
Alyssa Flack contributed nine kills, followed by juniors

Avaya Maga recorded a double-double with 55 assists and 10 digs. Junior
McKenna Brand also reached double figures with 10 digs, while junior
Kinsley Singleton added five digs and two service aces.
SET ONE
Oklahoma established control early, building a 9-5 advantage before extending its lead to 17-9 behind consecutive aces from Singleton. The Sooners maintained their advantage throughout the frame, hitting .419 and closing out a 25-16 victory.
SET TWO
South Carolina (7-6, 0-3 SEC) opened with a 6-2 lead before Oklahoma battled back and moved ahead 21-16. The Gamecocks responded with seven consecutive points to regain the lead and held off the Sooners for a 25-23 win.
SET THREE
After falling behind 8-4, Oklahoma took control with a nine-point run that featured six kills from Tolliver. The Sooners maintained their advantage down the stretch, taking the set 25-21 to regain the match lead.
SET FOUR
Oklahoma raced to an early 10-3 advantage and never trailed in the final frame. The Sooners stretched their lead to 21-10 before Tolliver delivered the match-winning kill to secure the 25-16 victory.
