Oklahoma in Fifth through 36 at Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

ATHENS, Ga. – Oklahoma sits in fifth place after two rounds at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in Athens, Ga., leading the 11-team field with 27 birdies on Tuesday.
The Sooners (T5, +33) are aiming for their fifth straight top-five finish this spring, with freshman Audrey Rischer (T2, -1) leading the charge. She is tied for second and one of just three golfers in the field under par after round two. Rischer fired rounds of 71-72 on the day to hold her position.
Junior Savannah Barber (T15, +6) and senior Reagan Chaney (T40, +10) tied Rischer for the second-most birdies recorded during the 36 holes played, with six each. Chaney and junior MaKayla Tyrrell (T40, +10) are tied for 40th, along with redshirt sophomore Raychel Nelke (T4-, +10), who is competing unattached from the lineup.
Junior Gracie Mayo (T45, +11) is tied for 45th to round out the lineup going into the final round on Wednesday.
The Sooners continue play in the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic tomorrow in the final round, with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT.
