NORMAN – The No. 1 Oklahoma women's gymnastics team returns to the floor for a battle with No. 11 Auburn Friday night inside Neville Arena in Auburn, Ala. The meet is set for a 6:45 p.m. CT start on SEC Network+. Friday's trip to Auburn will be the first for the Sooners since 2010.

LOOK BACK AT IT
The Sooners picked up a pair of wins over the weekend, defeating No. 5 Florida Friday night inside Lloyd Noble Center before topping No. 24 North Carolina on Sunday at the Metroplex Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas. OU posted back-to-back marks of 198-plus on the weekend, going 198.075 on Friday and 198.050 on Sunday.
Against Florida,
Faith Torrez earned the first perfect 10 of the season for the Sooners en route to a career-high 39.775 in the all-around. Torrez now has two perfect scores in her career, both on floor, and brought home four event titles in the meet on vault, beam, floor and in the all-around. Her perfect mark helped the Sooners to a season-best 49.775 on floor.
At the Metroplex Challenge, the Sooners got a 9.975 on beam from Torrez and a 9.975 on floor from Bowers to earn their second 198 score of the season. Bowers claimed the all-around title with a 39.650 and the beam squad set their season high with a 49.650 on the event.
TORREZ NAMED SEC GYMNAST OF THE WEEK
With a career-high 39.775 in the all-around and a perfect 10 on floor over the weekend, junior
Faith Torrez claimed her third SEC Gymnast of the Week honor.
The Bristol, Wisc., native recorded the highest all-around score in the SEC this season and second highest in the nation, earning a 39.775 against Florida to tie her career high. Her perfect 10 on floor led the Sooners to a season-high 39.775 on the event and pushed them to No. 1 in the nation on the event as a team. Torrez now has two perfect 10s in her career, both coming on floor. Along with her all-around and floor titles, she also claimed vault with a 9.95 and beam with a 9.925 and placed second on bars with a 9.90.
At the Metroplex Challenge, Torrez earned her fifth event title of the weekend earning a near-perfect 9.975 on beam. She added a 9.925 on floor, her seventh straight mark of 9.9 or higher on the event this season.
ROAD WARRIORS
In the last decade, the Sooners have shown they are a force to be reckoned with away from the friendly confines of Lloyd Noble Center. Since 2015, the Sooners boast a 232-14 record on the road. This includes a 60-6 record at true away competition sites and a 172-8 mark at neutral sites. Over the last three seasons, OU boasts an average road score of 198.010. In 2025, the Sooners are 8-1 in road meets.
900 AND COUNTING
Friday's meet against Florida gave Oklahoma its 900
th win in program history. Since the first season in 1981, the program has a winning percentage of .733. Head coach K.J. Kindler has more than half of those wins with 523 to date for a .890 winning percentage.
SERIES HISTORY
The Sooners and Tigers have faced each other just 14 times in program history with the Sooners holding a 11-3 advantage in the series. Since OU last traveled to Auburn in 2010, every meeting between the two teams has been at neutral sites. The Sooners have won the last 10 meetings, including a victory in the first meet of the year.
TO 198…AND BEYOND
Oklahoma has totaled 77 scores of 198 or better in program history, including 69 since 2016. Of those 77 scores, only 30 have been earned at home, with 47 coming at road or neutral site competitions. Of the road scores, only 22 have occurred in regional or national competitions, including a 198.3875 at the 2024 NCAA Championship, which tied for the highest NCAA Finals score in history. In 2024, the Sooners earned a program and NCAA best 198.950 at the Big 12 Championships.
CLUB 197
The Sooners have posted a score of 197 or higher in 67 of their last 69 meets. OU is the only team in 2025 to have earned a 197-plus in every meet of the season. The program record of 45-consecutive meets with a 1987-plus was snapped at last year's NCAA Semifinals. During the streak, 32 of the 45 meet scores were a 198 or higher.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
No. 11 Auburn: Auburn is coming off a season-high 197.750 victory over Alabama last week. The Tigers are 10-3 on the season and 3-2 in SEC action with wins over Georgia, Arkansas and Alabama. Ranked No. 11 as a team, Auburn is No. 11 on vault, No. 13 on bars, No. 5 on beam and No. 15 on floor. Katelyn Jong is the lone all-arounder in the rankings for the Tigers, coming in at No. 16 with a 39.380 NQS. Jong is also No. 8 on bars, the highest ranked athlete for Auburn.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Sooners will return to Lloyd Noble Center for the final home meet of the season on March 7 when they host No. 15 Michigan. The senior class of

Danielle Sievers will be honored in a post-meet ceremony.
