OU has scored 100 points in four consecutive games for the first time ever and is averaging 99.6 points with a plus 35.6 scoring margin while shooting 48.4 percent from the field during the streak. All five starters are averaging double figures. The surge includes victories over two ACC opponents, defeating Florida State by 18 and NC State by five.

• No. 9/9 Oklahoma defeated No. RV/25 NC State 103-98 in overtime at Lloyd Noble Center on Wednesday night to push its winning streak to six and give the Southeastern Conference a point in the ACC/SEC Women's Challenge. The Sooners used the 18th double-digit comeback of the Jennie Baranczyk era (2021-present) to force overtime and secure the win. The Sooners reached 100 points for the fourth straight game – 112 vs. Western Carolina 100 vs. Coppin State 109 vs. Florida State and 103 vs. NC State – setting a program record for consecutive 100-point games.
• Aaliyah Chavez starred with a career-high 33 points on 13 of 26 shooting with four rebounds and four assists. Her 33 points are the third most ever by an OU freshman in a game and the most scored by a freshman nationally this season. Her 62 points across the last two games are the most in a two-game span by a freshman in OU history. Chavez leads all true freshmen with five or more games played in scoring this season at 19.7 points per game which is 3.7 points more than USC's Jazzy Davidson who ranks second. There have been six games this season where a true freshman has scored 29 or more points and Chavez owns three of them.
NOTABLES
• Freshman standout Aaliyah Chavez is coming off a pair of explosive performances, scoring 33 points against NC State on Wednesday after a 29-point effort vs. Florida State. If she reaches 25 or more on Sunday against UMES, she would become the first Sooner since Courtney Paris (Feb. 21 through Feb. 28, 2007) to record three straight games of 25 points. Chavez's 62 points over the last two contests are the most in a two-game stretch by a freshman in OU history.
• Oklahoma has the highest-scoring starting five in the country, as its starters combine to average 73.8 points per game. The Sooners are one of only eight teams nationally with five or more players in double figures, and the offense continues to rank among the nation's elite. OU is fourth in scoring offense at 93.3 points per game, eleventh in assists per game at 20.0, and nineteenth in offensive rating at 114.9. The Sooners also own the longest active streak in the country with four straight games of 100 points.
• While the OU offense commands much of the attention, the Sooner defense has quietly emerged as one of the nation's best. Oklahoma ranks 15th in opponent field goal percentage (32.7%) and has held all but one opponent below 40% shooting this season. The Sooners are inside the top 25 in several major defensive metrics, leading the country in both defensive rebounds per game (35.7) and opponent paint points per game (19.1). OU also ranks 10th nationally in blocks per game (6.4) and remains among the top 40 teams in defensive rating.
• Raegan Beers, Oklahoma's All-American center, has continued her dominance in the paint and solidified herself as one of the nation's top players. She scores 17.3 points per game on 60.2% shooting and adds 10.6 rebounds per game. In nine games, she has recorded seven double-doubles (six straight), good for the most in the country.
• Shara Williams is the only Power Four player – and one of three nationally – averaging at least 10.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. She joins teammate Raegan Beers as one of four SEC players averaging a double-double, and the Sooners are the only team in the country with two players that average a double-double.
• The Sooners and Hawks have met once before, a 2013 meeting in Norman that saw OU win 105-46. Nicole Kornet scored 26 points on that afternoon in Norman. The Sooners are 4-0 all-time vs. teams from the MEAC, including 1-0 this season (Coppin State) with another game (NC Central) on the docket.
The Sooners remain in Norman and face Little Rock on Thurs., Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. at Lloyd Noble Center. The game will air on SEC Network+.
