NORMAN – The Oklahoma women's gymnastics team will be put to the test once again in 2026 with an exciting and challenging schedule as the seven-time national champions head into their second season in the Southeastern Conference.

Head coach K.J. Kindler and Vice President and Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione revealed Tuesday the full competition schedule featuring matchups against six teams that advanced to the 2025 NCAA Championships and all three championship finals competitors.

Opening day is set for Saturday, Jan. 10, in West Valley City, Utah, at the Sprouts Farmer's Market Collegiate Quad. Taking place inside the Maverik Center and airing on ABC, the competition will once again feature the Sooners alongside LSU, UCLA and Utah. OU won the first two editions of the Collegiate Quad, including the inaugural competition in the Maverik Center in 2024.

The Sooners will look to defend their 2025 regular season SEC crown as SEC competition begins on Friday, Jan. 16. OU will face 2025 third-place finisher Missouri in Columbia, Mo., for the first time since 2012.

The home opener is slated for Friday, Jan. 23, as the Sooners host Georgia inside Lloyd Noble Center. The 2025 NCAA champions will be recognized with the unveiling of the 2025 national championship banner.

January wraps up with another conference road trip when OU travels to Lexington, Ky., to face the Kentucky Wildcats on Friday, Jan. 30. This will be Oklahoma's first trip to Kentucky since opening day of the 2012 season.

February is full of home meets for the Sooners as they host Alabama, LSU and Auburn at the LNC. After hosting the Crimson Tide on Friday, Feb. 6, all eyes will turn to the most anticipated matchup of the season as the 2024 National Champion LSU Tigers make their first trip to Norman since 2014. The meet between the last two national champions is set for Friday, Feb. 20.

The final home meet of the month takes place on Friday, Feb. 27, when Auburn makes its first trip since 2008 to Oklahoma.

OU will go on the road twice in February, competing at the Metroplex Challenge on Sunday, Feb. 8, before traveling to Florida on Friday, Feb. 13.

March kicks off with the final conference meet of the regular season as the Sooners face Arkansas on Friday, March 6.

OU returns home on Sunday, March 8, to host TWU for Senior Night before embarking on its final road trip of the regular season to Michigan on Friday, March 13.

The SEC Championships are set to be held on Saturday, March 21, at a location to be announced in the coming weeks.

NCAA Regionals will be hosted by Arizona, Kentucky, LSU and Oregon State. Regional competition will feature nine teams and begin on Wednesday, April 1, with two teams at each site competing in the first round. Eight teams will compete in two sessions of four in the second round, and the top two in each session will advance to the regional final. The top two teams from the regional final will advance to the NCAA Championship.

The 2026 NCAA Championship will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, April 16-18. Four teams will compete in each semifinal on Thursday with the finals slated for Saturday.

Coming off a season that saw the Sooners bring home their seventh national championship, the 2026 squad returns the No. 1 all-arounder in the nation in Faith Torrez, alongside All-Americans Addison Fatta, Elle Mueller and Lily Pederson.
The Sooners brought in the No. 1 signing class in the nation in Nicole Desmond, Mackenzie Estep, Ella Murphy, Kamila Pawlak and Blakely Roten.
