HELLO OLD FRIEND
The Sooners will welcome a former Big 12 foe to Lloyd Noble Center when SEC competition begins Friday. Oklahoma and Missouri spent 16 years in the Big 12 conference before Missouri's departure after the 2012 season. This is the first time the Tigers have returned to Norman for regular season competition since 2011. OU is 60-11-1 all-time against Missouri and have not lost a meet to the Tigers since 2004 (25-0).
SWEET HOME OKLA(HOME)A
Oklahoma is 148-4 inside Lloyd Noble Center since the arrival of head coach K.J. Kindler in 2007 and has posted 86 consecutive home victories across 55 meets dating back to 2014. The 2025 senior class is currently undefeated at home in their careers. OU has five regular season home meets in 2025, welcoming Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Florida and Michigan to the LNC throughout the year.
CLUB 197
The Sooners have posted a score of 197 or higher in 60 of their last 62 meets. The program record of 45-consecutive meets with a 1987-plus was snapped at last year's NCAA Semifinals. During the streak, 32 of the 45 meet scores were a 198 or higher.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
No. 10 Missouri: The Tigers are ranked No. 10 in the nation with a top 10 ranking on both floor (No. 6) and bars (No.9). The Tigers opened the season with a quad-meet victory over Ball State, Illinois State and SEMO where they posted a 196.700. Missouri is coming off a second-place finish in a quad meet at Denver where they defeated Georgia and LIU.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Sooners will head to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for their first true road meet of the season against No. 3 Alabama. The Sooners and Crimson Tide will take to the floor on Friday, Jan. 24 at 6:45 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
