Trujillo comes to OU after serving as assistant coach at The University of Tulsa as an assistant coach for three seasons. Before that, she served as the coaching intern at the US Rowing U19 Women’s High Performance and Olympic Development Program for a last year (2021-22). Trujillo has also served as the head coach for the developmental squad and as an assistant coach for the boys and girls varsity teams at the Atlanta Junior Rowing Association for three years (2020-23).

Trujillo rowed at UCF for two years (2018-20) and then concluded her collegiate career at Washington State (2020-23). As a sophomore at WSU, Trujillo helped the Varsity 4+ boat finish second in the petite final and eighth overall at the 2021 NCAA Rowing Championships. She was a member of the Varsity 4+ and Varsity 8+ crews as a senior and the 2nd Varsity 8+ as a junior. She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in May 2023 from Washington State. She holds a US Rowing Level I certificate.
